Rick Denham Photography bio picture

Welcome to my Blog!

I am a Canadian photographer based in the Niagara Region, Ontario. I have had a camera in my hands for 20 years, however in the few years I have been shooting professionally I have covered weddings throughout Canada and the United States. My modern approach to wedding photography combines a photo journalistic feel with both a classic and couture style, creating unique images found no where else.

Currently I am accepting only 12 commissions per year allowing me to give incomparable attention to each and every client I work with. Each client will receive their own unique collection showcasing the emotions captured from the bridal preparations to the first dance. No two collections are alike, as no two weddings are alike.

I am currently available exclusively throughout Canada, but also accepting select international destinations. For more information, please contact me to set up a consultation to tailor a package specific to your needs.

I shoot fully digital, exclusively with Canon Cameras & Lenses.

hockey // niagara icedogs

Some more hockey from the last week. London and Windsor were both in town for games against the IceDogs. The boys played a solid game against the Knights coming away with a 2-1 victory over one of the top 10 teams in the nation. The next game they didn’t fair as well dropping a 5-2 decision to the Spitfires who are currently ranked #3 in Canada. The dogs fell behind by 4 goals early in the third so I decided to have a little fun with my camera and try to get shots that aren’t the norm for a hockey game. As you scroll down past the images, you will start to see a some B+W images, which are the ones I am talking about. Family Day is this coming Monday which means the IceDogs will be holding their annual season ticket holder skate and skills comp. Should be a blast, lots of good angles to work with, and Lucas will also be making his first appearance on skate (hopefully)
